Problem: The clunky old signpost holder that holds the "We're all working on other stuff, please use the self-service station" sign fell apart. It has a base made of one piece of yellow, semi-durable 1/8" plastic. It also has a 4" PVC pipe sleeve for the signpost, and a fair amount of galvanized, yet rusty hardware to hold it together.
Solution: Major rebuild.
- Empty crud out of yellow container.
- Redrill signpost and PVC sleeve so that bolt holes match.
- Replace hardware.
- Fix cut-off grinder.
- Cut fencepost into appropriate lengths, drill with drillpress, use pieces to reinforce plastic.

This should last a few seasons now.
